CONDITIONS OF HIRE
The hiring contract is made subject to these conditions of hire. Hire of the property is strictly on the basis that accommodation is for holiday use only.
A non-returnable deposit is payable on booking and the balance is to be paid 28 days before arrival. On receipt of the deposit a confirmation of booking will be issued, and the hirer is then responsible for the total hire charge for the period booked. For bookings made 28 days or less before arrival, the full amount is payable on booking.
In the event of a cancellation the hirer must advise us immediately, whereupon we will without prejudice to our right to the balance in full, use our best endeavours to re-let. If re-letting is possible, the deposit, less administrative charges will be returned. To avoid cancellation losses, we advise hirers to take out holiday cancellation insurance.
Lettings are for a minimum of one week and are normally from Saturday to Saturday starting at 12.30pm on the day of arrival and ending at 10.00am on the date of departure (unless arranged otherwise).
All losses and breakages should be reported by the hirer who is expected to provide replacements of equivalent type and value or pay the cost of replacement. The hirer is also responsible for the cost of any damage to the property.
No more than four persons (including children 5 years and over) may occupy the flat at any one time. The hirer is responsible for taking good care of the property whilst in occupation and is expected to leave it in a clean and tidy condition at the end of the hire period. During the hire period the hirer must ensure that no annoyance or nuisance is caused to the occupiers of adjoining property.
